Cherry

The Wood:

Extremely popular with cabinet makers. Cherry is easy to work, fine textured, strong and fairly durable. Highly rated in all woodworking properties including wood bending and turning. Becomes darker and richer with age. Density 650kg/m3.

The Tree:

Reaches heights of up to 100 feet (30m), about 80 feet (24m) average, with a tall trunk of about 24 inches (610mm) in diameter

Colour:

Reddish-brown with a golden lustre

Exclusive furniture, cabinets, joinery and table tops
