Often highly figured with “eyes”. Hard and heavy. Appears oily with a medium lustre. Takes a natural polish. Not difficult to work. Finishes very smoothly. Density 700kg/m

Small to medium sized tree sometimes 100 feet (30.5m) tall. Trunk diameter of 27-35 inches (700-900mm)
Colour:
Light chocolate to golden brown dark with stripes. Blends well with light-coloured interiors
